I can give some useful tips to get increase your earnings. I am not a great writer, hopefully I can give some tips.

1. Display adsense ads in a more visibility area in your pages to get high CTR, dont worry about traffic of 1000 or 2000 uniques per day, I get only 300-400 unique visitors per day, but my CTR is about 30% because of placing the ads very much nearer to the content and in the top page. If you're getting 2000 visitors per day and not placing the ads in a spotlight area then you're CTR will be 1%-2%. So keep your ads on top and around the content.

2. Put a newsletter subscription box in your pages so that people leaves their emails to get more update about your niche, returning visitors is more important.

3. Create a Blog (best use Wordpress), the beauty of the blog is not to worry about SEO. Great wordpress plugins available to do the SEO things automatically. Just concentrate on your contents (should be original) and update regularly. I am sure soon the blog will get indexed comparing to a normal website and you will get some good organic traffic (SE). for example if you made a post in blog and that post will be crawled in a quick manner by SE Robots and gets SE traffic within 2-3 days of that post.

4. Spend sometime on how other webmasters promoting their website or blog on your niche. Last but not least, the only quote I can give is..
