can we empty all files under include/modules/payment/paypal/logs?
Q: as the time goes, i found more and more files were created under include/modules/payment/paypal/logs.Can we delete them?
I currently have my debug for paypal turned off on payments yet I am still seeing log files getting created Paypal_Debug_EC-*.log. What is the purpose of these files and can they be deleted without worry? A: If any of the 3 PayPal modules is enabled with debug log-to-file enabled, those logs will be generated. They can be deleted if you don't need them to debug any of the problems they may be detailing. --------------------------------------- Log files are just that - a logbook of evidence of 'past happenings'. As time goes by and no disputes have arisen, by all means, pick a cut-off time and delete the log files older than your set cut-off time. In solid operating systems like Linux we can set a time (months, weeks etc) to auto-delete these files. This may be an idea for the devs to be implemented for future versions of ZC. |
